Our vision for Craneswater Junior is to be a school where every child feels a strong sense of belonging and is valued as part of our school community. We aim to develop all our pupils as confident, well-rounded and caring young people who learn effectively and contribute positively to their communities and wider society. 

We strive to achieve this through the provision of excellent teaching in a caring, inclusive and supportive environment where every child feels safe, respected and connected, and where they are given the opportunity to achieve their academic, personal and social potential. 

'Learn to think, think to learn' describes the way in which we want to develop children as independent learners with the skills, confidence and curiosity that will carry them through the rest of their education and beyond. Alongside high expectations for learning, we nurture a culture of belonging in which every child feels known, valued and encouraged to be their very best. We have three core school values: Ready, Respectful and Safe.
